Purpose of HMS

To establish the scientific and technological base of “Maintenance” and outline its importance for a future with fewer problems, failures and disasters.

To highlight the role of Maintenance for the smooth and efficient operation of any company or organisation.

To disseminate the principles, scientific developments, technology and practices in Maintenance and Engineering Asset Management.

To promote the recognition of the importance that Maintenance has in production and commercial activities, as well as in the environment, health and safety.
